The Rooted Tribe · Trip 02
Leopard Country. Lake City. Real Rajasthan.
The Rooted Tribe
Two childhood friends. Ten years finding the India nobody puts on a brochure. Trip 01 — Valley to Bugyaal — sold out. Trip 02 is Jawai and Udaipur. Wild leopards on open granite boulders. An Udaipur that exists underneath the postcard version.
The only place on earth where wild leopards live alongside a pastoral community — no reserve walls, no fences. The Rabari and the leopards have coexisted for generations. Most visitors to Rajasthan have never heard of it.
Not the palace. Not the tourist boat. Ancient royal cenotaphs 350 years old that most visitors never find. A craftsmen's village. A ghat at sunrise with nobody else on it. The old city on foot with someone who grew up here.

The Route
The Safari
This is not a national park safari. Open jeep. No fences. No reserves. A local tracker who has read these hills for decades — who knows every leopard by name, every favourite boulder, every hunting route. The animals live here. You go to see them the way they actually live.

This is not a package tour. This is a small group of curious people going somewhere most travel brands haven't found yet.
